The founding story of Estonian FinTech Depowise began in 2021 when the corona pandemic and the chance brought three Estonians together to grant transparency in finance. The meeting of Sven Peekmann, Mait Poska and Artur Reiter set the stage for a perfect storm.
They shortly figured out that they have an exceptional skill set to build a solution making the financial sector more transparent, trustworthy, and human error free. First, there were Sven and Mait, with their brilliance in turning complicated processes into highly usable IT systems. And Artur, backed with financial business knowledge from decades at Bloomberg and other finance giants, just returning back Estonia, a splendid normal life oasis in the middle of the pandemic chaos.
At the end of 2021, Sven Peekmann, Artur Reiter and Mait Poska founded Depowise and started developing a one-stop solution to create order in cash flow, oversight and safekeeping.
Depowise’s AI-powered solution comes with its data warehouse and advanced integrations platform, which allows customers easily integrate the data from various sources while simultaneously using the data pool to extract insights. Be it a bank, depositary, trustee service provider, management company or fund administrator – Depowise has a perfect tool set in its toolbox to meet the customer needs (and beyond).
Being light years ahead of its competitors in the market, Depowise is attracting a lot of interest. The company has 17 paying customers all over Europe and many more in the pipeline.

Sven Peekmann
Co-founder & CEO
Sven is a world master in turning complicated processes into highly usable IT systems.
He has 15 years of experience in designing and building IT systems for a huge number of e-business and asset management companies in the EMEA region.
Artur Reiter
Co-founder & CCO
Artur is an impressive finance expert with a solid global network. Artur has spent a decade at one of the biggest fintech companies globally, Bloomberg L.P. in London, where he has advised the largest institutions across EMEA on how to improve their target operating models.
Before Bloomberg, Artur worked for other famous companies such as Standard & Poor and Société Générale.
Mait Poska
Co-Founder & CTO
Mait’s super talent lies in IT talent development. He is hugely passionate about technology, innovation and teaching. He is constantly on the lookout for the latest trends in the tech industry to apply best practices to Depowise. With more than 10 years in IT, he has been mostly a chief solutions architect at Net Group.
For the past 5 years, he’s been teaching students at the prestigious TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology IT college courses related to SOA architecture using various Microsoft technologies.
